Having already been given the privilege of watching four quality games of Rugby League in this Four Nations tournament, we now find ourselves in a situation where this weekends games are effectively semi-finals for what is a major trophy.

The Kiwis and England is an exciting prospect. Two teams frothing at the mouth to tear strips off each other. England won’t admit it, but like your kid brother who holds a grudge, they are still smarting from their loss in last years World Cup semi final. Also like your kid brother that is still holding onto that grudge, they may become unstable and lash out with anything that is within arms reach so the Kiwis will need to be very cautious.

Also very exciting is the idea of the Samoans giving Australia a decent run for their money and perhaps even taking them down in what would be a grand-final like win in its self. The Samoans have performed well above their pay grade and definitely deserve the scalp of one of the big three. With the Kangaroos being the only ones left to play, it doesn’t look pretty for Tim Sheens and his career as Australia’s international coach. That is of course if the win.

So we have probably all read the same information this week about who has to score what in order to make into the grand final at Westpac Stadium in Wellington next week right? We thought we would break it down for you and make it a little but easier to understand. Because let’s be honest, who wants to still be working out the equation over the weekend meaning you miss the bloody games?! Take a look below and put your mind at ease.

While this may not be the most reliable information available, we believe it is certainly a lot easier to understand than the calculus exams other information sources have provided you. If you prefer to sit in your home office beavering away like Cam Smith on tax return week, then by all means do so, but as you do, ponder this. Out of the 249 outcomes possible in the weekends game, 12 of them are right here! Waste. Of. Time.
