Before we can answer the question of who will win Origin three, we must look to the Rugby League gods, or rather anyone that knows anything about sport and ask the other four W’s and an H. What, When How and Why.

What is going to happen on Wednesday night? Well in all likelihood there will be a few tries scored, a few goals kicked and a few punches thought about being thrown. What needs to happen though, is a good old all in brawl. Whoever catches the kick-off needs to charge into the line with elbows up and start the biggest blue we have all seen in two years.

€

In an ideal world, it will be the head that is Nate Myles running a straight line at Paul Gallen. Klemmer will come in from the bench as will Papalii and the boys will have found their mojo. Once the cards are received and penalties dished out, we can all get on to watching a great game of football.

€

Well if it isn’t obvious enough, the game is being played on Wednesday night. Gus and Rabs will get the blood boiling with their annoyingly cute love/hate relationship with each other and then the game will kick into gear.

The big question is though, when will the big moment in the game take place? When will the crowd roar into action and start the party? Most people will be hoping for the aforementioned blue above,  but it might be a Greg Inglis try that gets the home crowd going, and it might just be inside the first ten minutes.

Again, the obvious answer is Suncorp. But you’re not reading this for the obvious answer. You’re reading it for in-depth highly trustworthy information we love to provide.

The where we are alluding to is where exactly did David Klemmer learn to get under people’s skin so well? The answer, it’s known he graduated top of his class at the Josh Reynolds school of grubbiness, and has even surpassed Reynolds himself in the level of ‘influential people he has pissed off’. In one game, Klemmer managed to get under the skin of Corey Parker, JT, and the whole Queensland Origin team. In the build up to game three, coach Mal Meninga is acting nervous and firing shots around lack of respect. Klemmer could be the key to NSW reining supreme in the Origin arena once again.

How are we going to choose who wins? Well we have done so in the past by picking favourites, picking the outsiders and on occasions even picking both. This time though, we look to the advantages.

€

Queensland have home advantage. They have two, possibly three future immortals in their ranks. They have won eight of the past nine Origin series’. They have to be favourites.

€

New South Wales on the other hand have hunger. They have youth, They have David Klemmer. They also have a lot of injuries, potential injuries and the likelihood of a disrupted preparation.

€

€

Which leads us into the Who. If you haven’t picked up on it yet, we might just be chucking our spare change on the Maroons. We think they will sneak home in a blinder of a match that will see the lead change a number of times. Queensland 32 – 28.
