Broken bones, biting, elbowing, concussions and Josh Reynolds have left a trail of blood and disappointment coming out the back end of round 20.

The Broncos held firm at the top, only one win ahead of their northern neighbours, the Cowboys while the race for the almighty wooden spoon is really starting to heat up.

The Dragons have now lost seven in a row, the Warriors two, as well as their star playmaker Shaun Johnson and the Knights.. well they’ve almost lost all of everything including their coach. The Knights kicked Stone’s ass to the curb without even a hint of it going down while Manly have just booted Toovs out the door, but we knew that was coming.

The Fifita brothers have been banned from Penrith junior football for a year, while also finally being stood down by the Cronulla club indefinitely.

There are five players facing a judicial ban this week. Marty Taupau is facing 3 – 4 weeks for beating James Maloney across the face, the grub Josh Reynolds is in a similar boat but lets be honest, this is almost expected now. The thing that might save Reynolds is that the is also injured and out for four weeks.

Jesse Bromwich mistook the picture of a cheeseburger on Josh Dugan’s arm for the real thing – he has been accused of biting, while Adam Blair is facing a couple for picking on the small kids again.

The only teams we haven’t mentioned or aren’t affiliated with anything previously mentioned are the Raiders who continue to impress and could well be a smokey in this competition and the Rabbits. They seem to be heating up at the right time of competition. Not to be confused with coming on heat – that could be a disaster for everyone involved.

So having read the above, how is your team travelling? Looking good for a top eight finish, or are you already looking forward to next season? Tell us on our Facebook page here – http://on.fb.me/1fBKRki
